Getting Started
Will I need a verification code every time I open Torialo?
No. Email verification establishes or recovers an account on an installation. Normal launches use the securely stored device credential and signed entitlement.
Why do I need to verify my email?
Verification confirms ownership of the account email before Torialo establishes licensing for the installation.
Home vs Business
What is extra in Business Edition compared with Home?
Home focuses on screen/window/region recording, screenshots, voice-over, basic trimming, and local media libraries. Business adds workspaces, projects, modules, lessons and teaching steps; structured narration and captions; text-to-speech and translation; interactive regions, highlights and zoom; generation/regeneration of maintained training; and organization licensing and seat management.
Who receives the 30-day trial?
The self-service 30-day trial is intended for Home/individual users. Business and Sponsored Program access is provisioned through the applicable organization licensing arrangement.
What if I start with Home and my company later buys Business?
You do not need to discard your Torialo identity. Your company can associate you with its organization licensing and the Business entitlement can become your effective license.
Do you offer special pricing for teachers, schools, colleges, or universities?
Yes. Torialo offers special education pricing for eligible educators and educational institutions. Submit an Education Pricing request and our team will contact you to review your needs and eligibility.
Business Licensing
How does company licensing work?
A company purchases a seat allocation and identifies company administrators. Those administrators manage employee access within the purchased allocation.
What happens when an employee leaves?
The organization can remove that membership and recover the seat for another employee without deleting the person's Torialo account.
How do we request more licenses?
Use the Additional Licenses request from Pricing. Torialo Sales will contact you with the applicable quote.
Sponsored Programs
What is a Sponsored Program?
It is a licensing arrangement where a sponsoring organization funds Torialo access for one or more participating companies or groups. Sponsors can include workforce programs, government organizations, education, associations, nonprofits, and similar organizations.
Can a program cover several companies?
Yes. A sponsored program can use a total seat pool with allocations across participating organizations. Each company can administer its own users within its allocation.
What about large programs?
For larger programs, Torialo can discuss additional administration options for managing participating organizations and seat allocations.
Training & Languages
Can Business training be updated after a video is generated?
Yes. The structured lesson remains the maintainable source, so teaching steps, narration, media, and other details can be updated and training generated again.
